CEO and Self taught Fashion Designer, Ayeshia Smith, discovered her love for fashion at the early age of 5/6 when she was introduced to classic films. At the age of 13, she purchased a Cosmopolitan magazine and there was a DIY article on how to repurpose an old pair of jeans into a handbag. She was up for the challenge and after creating and wearing her new bag to school, her peers showed an interest and she started selling them at her high school. She knew that she wanted to become a fashion designer and after her mother purchased her first sewing machine, she started teaching herself how to sew and the rest is history. She has encountered many challenges over the years on this journey to get exposure for her handcrafted garments, but she chose to never give up on her dream. Ayeshia has reached a major milestone in her fashion career with debuting her newest collection “Memphis” named after her hometown of Memphis, TN at New York Fashion Week on September 12, 2021. She has been featured on Bluff City Life, Verbally Effective Podcast, WREG News Channel 3, and much more. She is currently working on a Men’s collection that is expected to release in Spring 2022 and a childrens collection in the Fall 2022.
